Ryan Williams
Senior Consultant, Policy & Public Affairs
Ryan Williams is a public affairs professional with extensive experience in policy analysis, government relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining Clear Strategy, Ryan worked in the critical minerals and lithium-ion battery industry as a Government Relations Associate at Li-Cycle, a lithium-ion battery recycler. In his role, he helped lead Li-Cycle’s government relations and policy strategy across all levels of government in Canada, covering a range of policy issues including developing critical mineral supply chains and circular economy solutions.
Additionally, Ryan has experience at the Embassy of Finland in Canada, where he supported diplomatic and trade initiatives to build Finland’s social, political, and economic positioning in Canada.
Ryan holds an MA in Global Politics from McMaster University and a BSocSc in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Ottawa. Ryan lives in Toronto and spends his time playing soccer, camping, and watching classic movies.
